TNCG are honoured to be the selected organisation to coordinate and facilitate the celebration of Black History Month in Basildon for the 5th year in a row. This annual celebration is used to continue to promote the presence and voice of the BAME community in Basildon. It is also used to raise awareness of the African and Caribbean heritage, cultures, history and success. Celebrating the past, present and future whilst building better community cohesion for our borough in the future, that also promotes the passing on of black history to the next generation for sustainable community cohesion and equality in the borough.
